Explain differences between published, draft and other status codes for applications

In ATA Developer Studio, application status codes such as “Published,” “Draft,” and others reflect the stage of an application’s lifecycle. A “Draft” status means the application or its API definitions are still being worked on, allowing for edits and internal review before anything is exposed more broadly. “Published” status indicates the application is finalized and made available for wider use consumers and stakeholders can access and utilize the APIs or related resources. Other statuses (like deprecated, archived, or inactive) may be used to signal if an application is no longer actively maintained, is retired from active use, or has been superseded by a newer version. These statuses help teams manage visibility, control releases, and ensure only validated and approved applications are accessible to others.
